  I own some RemoteQTH stuff (more than I need). It works. Don't forget, your 6000 series radio has a built in BCD as well.

  You only have to purchase a license if you want to upgrade to V2. Other than that, you can run V1 forever.

  You will also need to be able to push the PTT switch on the radio while at the radio to complete your reservation. So, there is a double wamy. That is a security feature. :)
